Accommodation
Kilpisjärvi has a full range of possibilities when it comes to lodging.
There is a hotel, many log apartment hotels and a number of hostels as well.
A good many of these are new and some have a high standard to them.
Camping sites are also available for motor homes.

Most of them have space for 6-8 people.

Guided tours
There are several Kilpisjärvi-based guided tour companies.
Other companies offer their programs to visitors in Kilpisjärvi as well.
All together there is an array of tours and related services. Among them, you will
very likely find something of interest.
One of the more popular ways to enjoy Kilpisjärvi is on a plane or a helicopter.
Some hire a floatplane to another lake to go fishing. Just tell the pilot when to pick
you up. Alternatively you can be taken to some high altitude lakes in Norway or Sweden.
During the short summer, you can cruise to the Three Border Point onboard M/S Malla.
Wintertime popular activities include snowmobile rides to Halti fell, Sweden or Norway.
Heli-Ski and paragliding are not for the faint in heart. Little less demanding
safaris to take include husky rides. Skiing in more than one of its forms: cross-country, downhill, telemark, snowboarding
are popular. Cross-country tops in popularity of the bunch. Kilpisjärvi has the longest ski-season
in Finland.
One idea to consider is to be taken to Norway to see Northern Norway.
We have a charter bus company to facilitate transportation of bigger groups as well.
